This award recognizes the alumna/alumnus/group which during July 2022-July 2023, has performed admirably in the face of adversity--adapting to overcome considerable challenges such as natural disasters, global pandemics, or any similar catastrophic situation. Factors considered in the selection of the winner of this award include (in no particular order): 

• Demonstrated persistence in the face of significant challenges 
• Examples of innovation/ingenuity in approaching the challenge
• Level of success and examples impact
